Biography
An engineer by training, April has worked as a marketing and sales exec for much of her career including a number of startups such as Tulip Retail, DataMirror (acquired by IBM), Janna Systems (acquired by Siebel Systems), Sitraka (acquired by Quest software), Watcom (acquired by Sybase). She has also been a marketing exec at few larger companies, focusing on launching and growing new product lines including IBM, Nortel and Siebel Systems.
Today she works mainly as a consultant (RocketWatcher Startup Marketing) to early-stage tech companies with a speciality in on market positioning and go-to-market strategy.
April was a speaker at IEEE N3XT® 2015 Toronto.
