Sections Congress is IEEE’s triennial gathering of grassroots leadership at which attendees network with local geographic leaders, attend training programs and develop recommendations to guide the future of IEEE.  

As part of this year’s event, IEEE Entrepreneurship is coordinating several sessions to educate attendees on the recent efforts IEEE has made to engage and serve the engineering-driven startup community.  Please see the list of sessions below for more details.

A success story of bringing together academia, government, startups, and economic development to ignite an IEEE Entrepreneurship, Student, and Young Professional Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Building Technical Communities Through Entrepreneurship Activities in India – 5 Minute Ignite Session – Sunday 13:05 PM – Exhibit Hall – Amit Kumar

This session will cover the impact and story of the Technology Entrepreneurs Summit – India, which brought 200+ attendees, including settled startups, entrepreneurs, government startup policymakers, young professionals, practicing engineers, and students.

IEEE Sections might have a significant role in connecting startups with industry and investment to empower the next disruptors.
