THE 2018 FUTURE LEADERS FORUM!

by Ryan Fleming

The 2018 FUTURE LEADERS FORUM will take place JULY 26-28 in Austin, TX, USA.

LEAD, ADAPT, CONNECT, AND THRIVE!

Today’s workforce has different motivators, expects a differently structured workplace, and has new ways of communicating. This one-of-a-kind forum focuses on how to proactively assist workers in navigating and acquiring the tools they need to become more agile and thrive in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world.

The forum will be an innovative and engaging experience with insightful and thoughtful content married with fun activities to promote discussions on the issues that matter most to today’s workforce. This year focuses on four themes (Lead, Empower, Adapt, and Design) and will feature exciting speakers, interactive sessions, and opportunities to network through culturally inspired activities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Although designed for Students, Young Professionals, and Mid-career professionals, the Future Leaders Forum is designed an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to hone their skills and not only survive, but thrive in today’s changing world.

Deciding to lead can be a scary venture. Join the Future Leaders Forum for the LEAD session and dive into a world full of twists and turns that go from large corporations to risky endeavors to brand new ideas and getting your hands dirty from the ground up.

This year’s LEAD session is hosted and organized in collaboration with the IEEE N3XT® Affiliate Event Series. IEEE N3XT® embodies the spirit of future technological development by using the root of the word “next,” and the numeral “3” to represent the three event pillars of ideas, innovation, and inspiration.

Each of the LEAD speakers will bring attendees along on their trek from the beginnings of their spark and go beyond today to explore what the future has in store for trailblazers.

Panelists include 2018 Chair of the IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee Samantha Snabes, IEEE N3XT® Star Kevin Noertker, Daniella Piper, and Krenar Komoni.
