Call for Nominations – 2018 IEEE Entrepreneurship Initiative Steering Committee

At IEEE, we believe technology entrepreneurs are key drivers of tomorrow’s innovations and are integral to advancing technology for humanity. As an association with over 400,000 members worldwide, we seek to foster the entrepreneurship spirit by:
- Providing an inspirational medium in which individuals are able to discuss and develop their ideas,
- Accessing resources to help bring concepts to life,
- Facilitating connections that lead to successful partnerships.
The IEEE Entrepreneurship Initiative is calling for nominations for Steering Committee Officers in 2018.
Anyone may submit a nomination; you do not need to be an IEEE member to submit a nomination. Self-nominations are permitted and encouraged. IEEE Organizational units may submit recommendations if the governing body or its designee has endorsed the candidate.
The deadline to submit nominations for steering committee member positions is 19 Feb 2018.
Eligibility:
IEEE Entrepreneurship Initiative encourages and welcome members to join the committee. However, the nominee should have reasonable experience to conduct the expected duties.
Volunteers who have served in a role on the committee immediately prior to 2018 are eligible for further service, however, must also complete the nomination form.
Term:
The new committee would serve for one year from 1st of March 2018 until 1st of March 2019.

Nominations should be submitted no later than 12 February 2018.
The IEEE Entrepreneurship Committee Chair will post the results newly appointed committee on the IEEE Entrepreneurship Portal on 1 March 2018.
IEEE greatly values the contributions of the volunteers and we hope you will consider volunteering for a committee position next year.
