IEEE Entrepreneurship, in partnership with UN Major Group for Children and Youth, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is organizing the 5th annual video pitch competition at this year’s G-STIC 2021 event.
This competition is open to organizations and companies with original and innovative solutions that hold great potential for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students, researchers, companies, and individuals will compete in three different categories:
Ideation – Products/innovations from workshops and competitions that support the SDG-related themes
Start-ups – Companies with a market-ready product / innovation
Mature Companies – Companies that are in growth stage, with sustainable business models and substantial sales
The videos in each category will be judged based on 5 criteria:
- Innovation
- Market
- Product
- Diverse Team
- Traction.
If selected, the winners in each category will be invited to attend and present at G-STIC 2021 in Dubai from 17 – 19 January 2022.
Plans for a hybrid event approach are being worked on and we will post updates regarding the conference status as we near October.
