Founder Office Hours Program
Our IEEE Entrepreneurship global ecosystem is made up of approximately 20,000 virtual members in over 65 countries. About 23% of those entrepreneurs are academic research start-ups, 22% are aspiring entrepreneurs, 26% are start-ups with a few people, and 12% are at the scaling and growth stage. All these various stages need mentors with different skills and that’s where IEEE Entrepreneurship’s Founders Office Hours comes in.
We have mentors who can provide advice at any of these stages. Our mentors include Investors and Entrepreneurs who have experienced these different stages of growth and have the scars on their back to prove it. Last year we conducted 35 sessions in every region of the world and our average scores on the mentee feedback forms was 4.857 to the question, “How would you rate your quality of the mentoring you received?” and 4.714 to the question, “To what extent do you feel that this mentor met your expectations?”.
