2025 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS | CHAIR, IEEE ENTREPRENEURSHIP STEERING COMMITTEE

IEEE is calling for nominations for the 2025 Chair of the IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee (S/C).

Term of Office – One Year – 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025: The Committee Chair, who serves by appointment by the Vice President – Technical Activities, shall serve a one-year term and may be reappointed for up to two additional consecutive terms.

Selection criteria includes, but is not limited to, experience in engineering-driven entrepreneurship, technical expertise, IEEE volunteer experience, and proposed goals.

Duties: The duties of the officers can be found on the Chair, IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee Page.

The deadline to submit nominations for the 2025 chair position is 06 September 2024.

• Ishkandar Baharin – IEEE Region 10, 2024 IEEE Entrepreneurship Southeast Asia Region Team Lead

Review of the candidates will occur under the IEEE Entrepreneurship Nominations Committee.

The five members of the Nominations Committee are selected by the current IEEE Entrepreneurship Chair. The Chair of the Nominations Committee is the past IEEE Entrepreneurship Chair.

The Chair of the Nominations Committee has the deciding vote in case of a tie amongst the Nominations Committee members.

Note – Nominations Committee Members cannot apply to the IEEE Entrepreneurship Chair position.
