IEEE Entrepreneurship 2025 Impact Award Application Deadline: 30 September
The IEEE Entrepreneurship Impact Award recognizes an individual who has had a significant impact on the engineering-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem. The accomplishments of the candidate should be of “significant importance” and should have made a distinguishing contribution to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of a country/region. The person/team will receive an honorarium of US $10,000 and a plaque commemorating their achievement. The IEEE Entrepreneurship Impact Award Judges identify individuals/teams that are building innovations geared towards benefiting humanity and building a strong inclusive ecosystem.

Eligibility:

  • Both members and non-members of IEEE can be nominated.
  • The nominator and the nominee cannot be a member of the IEEE Entrepreneurship Awards Committee or a member of the IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee.
  • The award recipient must be willing to join the IEEE Entrepreneurship Community and provide IEEE with continual updates on their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Past recipients of the IEEE Impact Award will not be considered.
  • The eligibility and selection process shall comply with procedures and regulations established in IEEE and Society/Council governing documents, particularly with IEEE Policy 4.4 on Awards Limitations.

  • Nominations will be submitted via the IEEE Entrepreneurship Impact Award Nomination Form (button below).
  • Self-nominations are NOT accepted.
  • Nominations should comply with IEEE Policies and restrictions on awards. Incidents of misconduct including, but not limited to, violations of IEEE’s publication policies, will be strongly considered by the awards committee and may be grounds for denial of an award or leadership position.
