2020 | IEEE Vision, Innovation, and Challenges Summit (VIC)
15 May 2020
(originally scheduled Vancouver, Canada)
The IEEE VIC Summit will resume in 2021 but a virtual experience will be held to recognize the 2020 IEEE Award Recipients that would have been presented with their medals at this year’s Honors Ceremony.
The IEEE VIC Summit goes behind the scenes of the most innovative and successful technology celebrities to discover how we turn today’s impossibilities into tomorrow’s realities – bringing you 300 years of experience distilled into one day of learning.
The IEEE VIC Summit will not be held in 2020. The IEEE Medal & Recognition recipients who would have received their awards at this year’s Honors Ceremony will be recognized through a series of specialized online promotions, spanning a few months, that will showcase each recipient’s contributions and their role in advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Our sponsors who make these awards possible will also be featured in the online promotions. The online experience is scheduled to begin on 15 May 2020.
Called “stimulating, interesting, and entertaining,” “an impressive event that embodies what engineering is all about,” and “the experience of a lifetime”—the IEEE VIC Summit is a unique opportunity to connect with, learn from, and build partnerships with some of the most notable technologists in the world.
The IEEE VIC Summit and Honors Ceremony bring together innovators, visionaries, and disruptors in technology to discuss, explore, and uncover what is imminent, what is possible—and what these emerging technologies mean for our future.
