Harun Ferizović

My name is Harun Ferizović and I am coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am 21 years old and I am studying mechanical engineering at University in Bihać.

I am a member of an association of innovators BiH. I used to take part in various types of competitions in branch of technical science. In the year of 2015, I participated as a competitor in the BOSEPO competition in Sarajevo, where I won a second place in the field of Engineering & IT with the innovation of vertical wind turbine with sails.

I am enthusiastic, curious and persistent person. I put a lot of interest in renewable sources of energy and I hope that one day I will be able to give a bigger contribution in field of using wind power. Together with my sisters, I have been part of IEEE/YEP Innovation Challenge 2017, which took place in Sarajevo, where we won the first place with our innovation of VVSSL – Vertical Wind Turbine With Self-Aligning Wind Redirectors. I hope that we will be able to present our innovation to wider audience, and that we will come to the interest of experts who will help us to make progress with it.
