Biography

Keegan Lensink is a research scientist at Xtract who works on the machine learning back end, as well as contributing to data collection and annotation software.

Before joining Xtract, Keegan worked as a junior programmer at University of British Columbia’s Seismic Laboratory for Imaging and Modelling (now at the Georgia Institute of Technology), where he developed a variety of distributed software packages, including a framework for low-rank matrix completion in cluster environments and a scalable big data IO program.
Keegan holds a B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he was a member of the Varsity Football team. He is currently working on his Ph.D. at UBC in applied machine learning.
