Kenneth M Bintu

Kenneth M Bintu is the Founder of Light Comp Tech Ltd, an IT software company that develops mobility solutions using real time-based location. He has 5 years’ experience in web and app development, with a focus on delivering solutions in artificial intelligence, internet of things, and possess knowledge in different programming languages.

Kenneth is pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology degree at Cavendish University Kampala, Uganda, and is in his final year of study. He is the recipient of the 2019 best start-up award at Cavendish University.

He is also the brains behind the Public Taxi Uganda App & Town Bus Services – bus booking systems. Through resilience and hard work, Kenneth has grown his start-up and was invited to pitch at the UN-SDGs Youth Entrepreneurship Afric’Up, a large African start-up summit in Tunisia in 2019. He is an IEEE volunteer currently serving as IEEE Brand Ambassador Uganda 2020 as well as an IEEE student branch leader at Cavendish University 2020.
