Lidia Pieri earned a Master’s degree with honors in Physics working at CERN and a Ph.D. in theoretical astroparticle physics from the University of Rome-3 (Italy.) In the subsequent years, she gained international experience working as a research associate in highly recognized institutes, including the University of Stockholm and the Institute for Astrophysics at Paris, authoring about 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers in astrophysics, high energy physics, and computational biophysics.
Since 2014 she has been channeling her energies in management.
In 2017 she played a key role in the vision, planning, and founding of Sibylla Biotech S.R.L., fostering the partnership with the private firms and research institutions. She has been CEO at Sibylla Biotech S.R.L. since the foundation.
