Biography
Mr. Chen leads technology and product research and development at VascuLogic, a New Jersey-based medical device start-up that specializes in vascular imaging & robotics. There, he has worked with the engineering team to develop five prototype generations of the VenousPro autonomous robotic phlebotomy device, and led the validation of the technology in bench studies, animal trials, and human pilot studies.
Mr. Chen is also a National Institutes of Health Graduate Research Fellow at Rutgers University, where he will receive his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering. Mr. Chen’s background is in medical imaging, computer vision, machine learning, and robotics.
Mr. Chen was a speaker at IEEE N3XT® 2015 Toronto.
