Gloria G. See
Biography
Gloria is a Senior Research Engineer. She supports and leads a number of research and product development initiatives including e-textile sensors for monitoring human health and performance. She has also worked in precision agriculture, aerospace and defense, and as a writer since her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She also has her own business that develops sensors for museum artifact preservation.
Gloria has been a member of IEEE since her undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester. She serves as the Chair of the IEEE-USA Entrepreneurship Policy and Innovation Committee, currently focused on expanding the participation of underserved communities in tech entrepreneurship. She is also the Young Professionals Representative for the High Plains section and has previously served as the YP Representative to the IEEE-USA Board. Gloria is Vice-Chair – Partnerships and IEEE USA & EPIC Liaison on the 2021 IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee.
