Biography
Larissa Abi Nakhle is the co-founder and COO at ZAKA, an educational Artificial Intelligence company focused on upskilling individuals and connecting them with the job market.
Larissa’s experience includes over five years in marketing and community building for non-profits. Since 2016, she has actively contributed to IEEE, serving as treasurer and Chair of the IEEE AUB Student Branch in Lebanon. Currently, Larissa holds the position of VP at the IEEE Young Professional Lebanon team. In 2023, she joined the IEEE Region 8 Women In Engineering as a CRSP Member and the role of IEEE Region 8 SAC WIE SBAG coordinator.
Larissa believes in building successful, meaningful connections through communities to give technical people a chance to share their experiences and knowledge with each other.
Larissa holds a B.E. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
Larissa Abi Nakhle is the Social Media Core Team Lead on the 2024 IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee.
