Rana Mahmoud

Rana Mahmoud is the Art Director and Founder of Ropupa.

Ropupa, founded in 2020, is an audiobook startup that released its first audiobook app (Bookcast) in 2020 and its second in 2023 (Pupila – an audiobook for children.)

She is a Senior Graphic Designer at Innovideas, LLC. with ten years of experience as a graphic designer.

Specifically, her experience includes brand identity, advertising, social media designs, environmental designs, i.e., events and internal branding, and some skills in typography and calligraphy.

She started as a junior designer, then senior-level designer, followed by team leader, and eventually became art director and GD instructor.

Rana holds a B.E. in Fine Arts from Alexandria University.

Rana Mahmoud is the Graphic Design Core Team Lead on the 2024 IEEE Entrepreneurship Steering Committee.
