Biography

Rebecca Todd has been Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center’s (ASBTDC) full-time innovation consultant since November 2009. She assists technology-based small businesses and university researchers throughout Arkansas with navigating federal funding opportunities within the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs that support innovation with high commercial potential.

Rebecca guides clients with qualified research ideas through each stage of registering their businesses with the federal government, drafting proposal narratives and budgets to respond to agency core review criteria, and finalizing application materials.  Additionally, she leads SBIR/STTR training events and has strong working relationships with SBIR/STTR agency program managers and state funding organizations.

She is a certified technology counselor and a Certified Business Advisor®.

Todd has a master’s degree in professional and technical writing from UA Little Rock and has master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Previously she was a technical writer at Dassault Falcon Jet.
