Samantha O’Riordan

Samantha O’Riordan is the Giga Program Officer at International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for the joint ITU and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Giga Initiative, which aims to connect every school to the Internet and every young person to information, opportunity, and choice.

Samantha has worked on multiple information, communications, and technology programs in the private sector and the UN. Prior to joining ITU Samantha worked at the GSMA Association, and for multiple European telecommunication operators and service providers.

Ms. O’Riordan holds a Masters in International Business and a BSc in International Business with French.
