IEEE @ 2019 SSF X SWITCH
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Enterprise Singapore (ESG), and the National Research Foundation (NRF) have worked together to combine Singapore’s FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) into one event (2019 SSF x SWITCH) celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship from 11 to 15 November 2019.
IEEE Future Directions, IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Spectrum, and IEEE Entrepreneurship, have collaborated with Enterprise Singapore to present an entire afternoon of on-stage programming from 1pm – 5pm on 12 November 2019. Discussions on a diverse assortment of topics including innovations in quantum computing, the future of computer architecture, and advances in AI will be led by several distinguished IEEE guest speakers.
In addition to the programmatic contributions above, IEEE Entrepreneurship will be conducting the IEEE N3XT® Stars Recognition Program in conjunction with 2019 Slingshot Startup Competition at 2019 SSF x SWITCH.
The IEEE N3XT® Star Recognition Program recognizes best-in-class technology startups that have engineering-driven innovation at their core and additionally have an impact that aligns with the IEEE mission to foster technology, innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.

The 2019 Slingshot Startup Competition provides companies from over 120 countries with the opportunity to showcase their technology to thought leaders, investors, mentors, and tech-savvy media outlets.
Our panel of IEEE volunteer judges will select several qualifying companies from the 2019 Slingshot Startup Competition applicant pool for special on-stage recognition.
